When her boss Gideon turns out to be a vampire and Marco witnesses an ambush by six werewolves, Marco makes the choice to leave her old world behind and work more closely for Gideon. Her conscience is immediately put to the test and Marco finds herself learning more about her own mortality and humanity through the exposure to the supernatural world.
