Set in rural 19th century England, a young woman loses her husband to a dark, menacing force on her wedding day. As she powers through depression and another bride and groom with a forest full of deadly creatures Miss Adelaide Henry learns that her family history has a sinister, sexist past, led by the mysterious Conductor.
