Emma has gone for a very interesting slant on her Showreel which caught our eye. It is a dedicated short film, it shows no client work, but does show a high degree of ambition, professionalism and ability to turn concept into film. Emma’s Showreel has an amazing amount of detail with a black and blue (capsule films logo colors) color pallet running through out. The Woman delivering the capsules shoes are colored black and blue for example.

There’s some great lighting and cinematography in the piece and a few little cheeky touches, such as the spinning suitcase. We at the Reel Clever office had similar expressions to the characters in the film after viewing the psychedelic montage that features about halfway through the reel. Perhaps the montage could have included some more information on capsule films and their services. But really the reel serves well as a launching platform to the studios website, which is well displayed at the end.

Emma’s Showreel was ambitious and effective, we hope to see more of her work in the future.
